1872 Clipper Tea Co.'s Romance of Travel

I am so sorry for the long hiatus. I have been busy with work and travels. I would have to blog about that too. Can't wait for November to come because I'll hopefully get the chance to experience the beauty of the northern lights first hand. Speaking of travel, I had attended the 1872 Clipper Tea Co.'s Romance of Travel event with my BFF recently. The theme of the  event was travel, something very close to my heart.
We were there to learn more about these new products, these tea scented candles which they were launching.

Presenting the Romance of Travel collection by The 1872 Clipper Tea Co.. These are available as a set of three 30g candles and retails for $60 or you could purchase them individually at $23.

Love in Paris features a sultry blend of roses and chamomile, this scent evokes the ultimate rendezvous. Evocative of the city where some of the greatest love stories were spun, Love in Paris is sure to remind you of your greatest romantic escapades. The subtle, sweet fragrance of delicate chamomile also relaxes both mind and body to ease away the tensions of the day.

Singapore Sunrise is like the adrenaline rush of your first love, this blend of passion fruit, mango and refreshing green tea is sure to make your heart beat faster. Pulsating with the vibrancy of this fast-paced city, this scent will remind you once again of the greatest adventure in life - falling in love. The fragrance of green tea is also known for its healing effect and revitalizing freshness. (P/S: This fruity blend was my personal favorite among the three)

London Carousel is sweet, classy and elegant - this scent is combination of carmel & cream, black tea and bergamot. Whiffs of this will take you to a place between the childlike innocence and dignified strength of true love. Lighting banked fires, keeping you warm in the chilly London rain. A trending ingredient in the perfumery, black tea is a slightly smoky, exotic note; perfectly complementing the spicy-floral scent of bergamot - the key ingredient of Earl Grey tea that calms and soothes.

The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. candle collection can be purchases at their website.

Lippy Craze for the Hectic Professionals

Crazy about Lippie - Spurgle VS Save
It has been recent times that the nude, clean look is back in trend. So I will be sharing one of the ways we gals can rock with minimal barely there make-up and a sweet lippie.
Basically, I am a fan of the nude peachy lip look. Thus, this is my personal preference for the lipstick I have purchased and tested from a range of 10ish lipstick and these are my top 2 favourite picks.
If you are feeling kinda of rich lately, I highly recommend. As you can see, I am loving it to bits that I am using it to the end of it as I was too busy to get a new one due to my frequent business trips.

1) Dior Addict Lipstick

It is actually one of the best lipstick I have used. With its' vibrant colour and spectacular shine, it is simply hard to ignore. Somehow, I feel that it plumps up my lips and give me a sexy natural pout. :)
It is no wonder how Dior declares the Dior Addict Lipstick as the ultimate fashion accessory. Even flashing it in the restroom screams class :)
The new Dior Addict Lipstick is a declaration of love between beauty and style, between colour and couture, between Dior and its addicts.
I must also add, this is a great gift for Christmas to pamper your BFFs.
Fret not, should you think that is too much for a spurgle especially if you just want to have nice and moist looking lips for work.
There is a cheaper alternative out there if you look enough and here is mine for a daily professional peachy nude lip look.

2) Revlon Lipstick

Pretty much the same shade but somewhat, I feel the Dior Addict has a glossy smoother feel. Best reserved for weekends and dates.
For work, Revlon has the same shimmery effect but a little more toned down with the Matt shimmery lips.
Lippies are best for ladies like me who want to look effortlessly chic but without the hassle of removing waterproof or heavy make up. Fuss free way to look good with less.
